ACEZANTEZ (The Zagreb New Tendencies Ensemble) was formed by versatile Croatian composer and instrumentalist Dubravko Detoni and a few other multimedia-oriented artists as the first ensemble specializing in contemporary music in the region. Their first concert was in 1971 at the Yugoslav Music Festival in Opatija. While exploring new ways in which to blend various music and stage elements, the Ensemble has worked with artists from all over the world, and several generations of creative musicians have passed through the Ensemble during the decades.
