Formed in 2008 by renowned professors of the Music Academy in Zagreb – violinist Leonid Sorokow, pianist Ruben Dalibaltayan and cellist Krešimir Lazar – with an aim of enriching the music scene of Zagreb and Croatia with works written for piano trios.

Amadeus Trio Zagreb was formed in 2008 by renowned professors of the Music Academy in Zagreb – violinist Leonid Sorokow, pianist Ruben Dalibaltayan and cellist Krešimir Lazar – with an aim of enriching the music scene of Zagreb and Croatia with works written for piano trios. The ensemble is especially dedicated to performing and promoting Croatian music, which has led them to numerous festivals, such as the Osor Music Evenings and the Croatian Music Festival in Vienna. The Trio has given concerts around Croatia, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as in Slovenia and Austria.
