History

Artis piano trio has established itself as one of the leading Hellenic chamber music ensembles with concerts in Athens Concert Hall,Carnegie Hall (Weil Recital Hall), Parnassos Literary Society Hall and the most prestigious European Festivals.

It was founded in 2002 by Yannos Margaziotis, Nikolas Kavakos and Annie Totsiou.

Artis piano trio and its members, often colaborate with musicians from around the world such as, Vladimir Mendelssohn, Fabio Di Casola, Frans Helmerson, Radovan Vlatkovic, Olgu Kizilay, Efdal Altun and many others.

Recordings from live concerts of the trio, have been often and regularly broadasted by the European Broadcasted Union (EBU) in most European countries.

The Artis piano trio performs at all major venues in Greece with unique chamber music programmes, colaborrating with musicians of international aclaim.

Repertory

The trio offers an expansive repertoire ranging from Haydn, via Beethoven, Brahms and Shostakovich, to works by contemporary composers.
