History

Kwartludium was formed in 2002, and consists of graduates of Music Academies of Warsaw, Bydgoszcz and Gdansk.
The ensemble, formed by Dagna Sadkowska (violin), Michał Górczyński (clarinet, bass clarinet), Paweł Nowicki (percussion), Piotr Nowicki (piano), focuses on performing works of young composers active both in Poland and abroad. Kwartludium possesses in its artistic output many Polish and worldwide premiere performances.

Repertory

In the repertoire of Kwartludium are graphic and intuitive compositions of the most significant representatives of the newest music such as: K. Stockhausen, C. Bergstroem-Nielsen, C. Cardew, R. Haubenstock-Ramati, Ch. Wolf and D. Detoni.
